Black@Work

Empowering Black employees to manage microaggressions, imposter syndrome, and more.

Help your teams prioritize both their well-being and professional development despite the challenges.

Black@Work™ is a series of professional development and stress management workshops based on the specific challenges our community faces in the workplace. Whether it's microaggressions, the glass ceiling, sponsorship, or racial trauma and stress, your teams will learn powerful well-being tools such as mindfulness and breathwork so that they can not only survive, but thrive despite the challenges.

Note that workshops can be tailored for additional marginalized communities.

 Why Support Black Employees?

While Diversity & Inclusion initiatives often focus on addressing implicit biases and the behavior of our colleagues, they often do not provide people of color with support to manage the challenges that continue to exist while we are on this journey.

5X
Black people are 5 times more likely for others to act as if they aren’t smart.

49%
of Black women feel that their race will make it harder to get a raise or promotion compared to just 3% of white women.

3%
Black people hold just 3% of executive or senior level roles among all US companies with 100 or more employees.

Black@Work™ workshops will help

  • RETAIN Black talent by demonstratinga clear commitment to their well being

  • EMPOWER your workforce with practical tools for their entire career

  • ACCELERATE career advancement and diverse representation in leadership roles
