An ancestral breathwork experience to heal generational trauma

Saturday, February 22nd,  9am PT / 12pm ET

Virtual event

The trauma has to stop with us. Join us in this powerful breathwork experience to connect with the ancestors as we heal on a subconscious level, leveraging the power of the breath coupled with a curated musical journey from the African diaspora.

Why ROOTS?

ROOTS is a truly transformative experience that can help you:

  • Connect with your ancestors and tap into their wisdom and guidance

  • Heal intergenerational trauma

  • Gain insight into the root causes of problems in your life

  • Access creative downloads and inspiration

  • Improve your overall well-being and sense of inner peace

Generational trauma gets passed on until someone in the family has the courage to face it head on, and put an end to the vicious cycle. This trauma often lies in your subconscious mind, without your full awareness.

The ROOTS experience is a combination of a curated musical journey of Black composers and performers along with a specific breathing practice that will help you to access your subconscious mind and connect with the ancestors for the healing and guidance you need.

All you need are headphones, an eye mask, and a comfortable place to lie or sit down. You will receive exactly what you’re meant to receive at that moment.

What will be covered:

  • 20 minutes: Calling in the Ancestors Ritual

  • 45 minutes: Breathwork Journey

  • 25 minutes: Discussion/Sharing

    1. Set up your space in a quiet and spacious area where you can lie down. Make sure you have access to a stable Internet connection. For best results, wear an eye mask or something to cover your eyes. Have a blanket, drinking water and tissues within easy reach. Use your favorite headphones or bluetooth speakers.

    2. Spend some quiet time meditating or journaling on what you might want guidance on.

    3. Have an open mind and try not to have specific expectations.

  • Everyone’s experience is different, but you will get exactly what you need. It could range from past life experiences, to images and metaphors that are messages from your ancestors, and sometimes people fall asleep because rest is what they really needed. The best thing to do is to arrive with an open mind and an open heart, and not to have specific expectations!

  • It is not recommended to use computer speakers because the experience will not be as immersive. Please use your favorite headphones or bluetooth speaker.

  • This event is intended to be a safe space for people of color. If you’re not BIPOC, you are welcome to attend other events by Zee Clarke.
